The beginning of a New Year often brings feelings of guilt and failure for so many. At this time, people find themselves forming a New Years Resolution in the hope of redeeming themselves.
Almost half of the population will make a New Years Resolution at the start of each year. Are you one of them?
At least forty percent of Americans make a New Years Resolution each year.
Only 75% of people manage to keep their New Years Resolution in the first week of the year.
A quarter of those who make New Years Resolutions don’t even make it through the first week.
By the end of the year only twelve percent will have succeeded with following through with their New Years Resolution.
88% of people fail to keep their New Years Resolution by the end of the year.
So what are the most common New Years Resolutions?
Drink less alcohol
Lose weight
Quit smoking
Save Money
Enjoy life more
Personally, I never make a New Years Resolution, I feel like I’m just setting myself up for failure. Sure, I plan to live a more healthy and happy life but I won’t put a number or a time frame on my goals.
My main goal is to continue to live a Passionate Life. This, to me, will bring me happiness and good health.
